Who Can Borrow?

Only Primary Members of the CSE FCU are eligible to borrow money from the credit union.  A Primary Member is defined as someone who has subscribed to at least one share of its stock (our share is described as a $5.00 initial deposit).  The primary member has an account with his/her own member number (first name on the account).  A primary member may have a joint owner or tenant on his/her account (for instance husband or a wife) but that person is not eligible to borrow money in his/her name alone.  That person would have to have a member number and therefore be a primary member in his/her own right to be able to borrow money.  A person who is "second" on the account (such as a husband or wife) may be a co-maker on a loan, but the loan will be in the primary member's name.

Please contact a CSE Representative for more information.
