CSE Marketing Department

Marketing is a very important process in any business since it contributes greatly to the success of the organization. The marketing strategies include obtaining new clients, branding, and public relations. The overall marketing umbrella covers advertising, public relations, promotions, and sales. Marketing is a process by which a product or service is introduced and promoted to potential members. Everyone in the marketing department plans and participates in events both internal and external. Below is a snapshot of what our marketing does on a daily basis.

 

Liz Trahan
Marketing Communications Specialist 

• Conceptualize and create materials for CSE locations, including banners, window graphics, display screens, etc.
• Conceptualize and create materials for regional markets and events, including banners, posters, catalogs, etc.
• Create billboards and magazine ads
• Assist the marketing team in the creation of marketing e-mail graphics
• Work within predefined brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce a brand’s style or message
• Design logos, icons, and social media material
• Work on email marketing graphics and presentation materials
• Proficient understanding of typography, layout, and design
• Basic understanding of web markup to assist developers with website creation
• Collect, synthesize and analyze campaign/program performance data and provide actionable insights

Pam Rivers
Marketing Assistant

• Assist in analyzing business processes and develop recommendations for improvement and or tools
• Conceptualize and create materials for CSE locations, including monument signs, banners, window graphics, display screens, etc.
• Create and analyze marketing reports summarizing business performance.
• Coordinate all aspects of the corporate database including schedules and communications with vendors.
• Utilize internal and external databases to develop reports to support the day-to-day business needs of CSE.
• Identify innovative solutions to improve cross-functional processes and operational efficiency.
• Plan, manage and execute a portfolio of paid search campaigns, including but not limited to strategy development, organization, and management
• Daily use of RA and Google for reporting and analytics
• Collect, synthesize and analyze campaign/program performance data and provide actionable insights
• Monitors annual budget, ensuring best and highest use of funds at all times.

 

Rosa Alfred
Marketing Communications Representative 
• Production and or facilitation of internal & external communications such as public relations materials, advertising, marketing collateral, social media content, and company newsletter.
• Basic understanding of web markup to assist developers with website creation
• Organizing and managing content for various online and offline platforms.
• Work on email marketing content and presentation materials
• Collect, synthesize and analyze campaign/program performance data and provide actionable insights
• Manage relationships with representatives from online advertising channels
• Analyze digital marketing data across all online programs and provide insights and action plans to help the team drive business results and growth opportunities.
• Managing edits and changes to the US website & online store utilizing WordPress platform. Responsible for updating content and increasing traffic through promotions, email, SEO, PPC, content strategies.
• Basic understanding of web markup to assist developers with website creation
• Daily use of Google for reporting and analytics

Colleen Desselle 
Director of Marketing and Business Development
• Organizing and planning the marketing campaign schedule
• Development and execution of marketing communication plans that align with CSE’s business objectives
• Pre and post campaign analysis.
• Identify expansion opportunities within and outside current online marketing plan
• Develops annual marketing and communications plan for CSE in conjunction with senior management and the Board President.
• Develops and monitors annual budget, ensuring best and highest use of funds at all times.
• Identifies and brings forward opportunities for growth, improved visibility and brand recognition, and member service improvement in accordance with CSE leadership.
• Monitors local and national press for relevant marketing, finance and competitor news and information, and proposes effective responses.
• Identify expansion opportunities within and outside current online marketing plan
• Fosters and continually enhances all media relationships, developing press releases and pitches on a continual basis and working with the Marketing Communications Rep. to ensure they are sent to appropriate media.
• Identifies and maximizes opportunities to utilize web-based technologies to improve business processes and support critical business strategies, provide information access, and promote the strategic uses of information technology and new media applications.
• Manages relationships with outside consultants, ensuring positive work relationships and appropriate use of the facility’s marketing budget.
• Emergency communications officer for credit union disaster situations.
