Traveling Out of State? IDCheck Keeps Your CSE Account Safe
At CSE, your security always comes first — even when you’re far from home. That’s why we’re excited to share a new way to protect your identity when visiting other credit unions through the Shared Branch network: IDCheck.
When you visit a participating Shared Branch location outside of Louisiana, IDCheck helps ensure that only you can access your CSE account — not a fraudster posing as you. It’s quick, secure, and gives you peace of mind wherever your travels take you.

Why Use IDCheck?
Account takeover fraud is on the rise, and out-of-state transactions can be a target for suspicious activity. IDCheck adds an extra layer of verification to make sure your account is only accessible by you — even when you’re hundreds of miles from your local CSE branch.
How It Works
The next time you’re at a participating Shared Branch location outside of Louisiana:
- Scan the QR code posted in the branch or go to verify.coop.org.
- Select CSE FCU from the drop-down menu.
- Enter your Member number and the last four digits of your Social Security number.
- Upload a photo of your valid ID.
- Take a quick selfie.
- Receive a one-time passcode — show it to the teller to complete your transaction.
This passcode is valid for 20 minutes and helps confirm your identity with multi-factor authentication.
Pro Tip: Save Time Next Trip
After you verify your identity, you can save your validation securely for even quicker access the next time you visit a Shared Branch.
Secure Access, Anytime You Need It
Whether you're traveling for work, vacationing with family, or just exploring new places, IDCheck helps protect your CSE account from fraud. It’s an easy step that adds powerful protection — and it’s already available at many Shared Branch locations across the country.
